100 days to go to PyeongChang 2018!

Producer / Floor Manager Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Cup Season 2017-18 - Lake Placid - Olympics in Korea

After a last sunny stop at the start of the Volvo Ocean Race in Alicante, it’s time to prepare for winter! And it’s only 100 days to go to the Olympics in PyeongChang! This Sunday we’ll leave for the first World Cup of the bobsleigh & skeleton season, starting in Lake Placid.

Producer / Floor Manager Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Cup Season 2017-18 - Lake Placid - Olympics in Korea

Like last year I will be producer / floor manager at the IBSF Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Cups. An exciting year since I was also asked to join the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang! During the Olympics in Korea I will be working for OBS.

Two years ago I was asked by Debby Ego, a good friend and now also IBSF colleague if I could to replace her during a few World Cups. She gave me a one weekend masterclass bobsleigh & skeleton, it was so so much to remember… Really every single thing I had to do was new for me! I never expected it to become such a big part of my life and even bring me to the Olympics in Korea! But I love every part of it! Thank you Debby, I’m proud of us, will miss you this season but will see you in Korea!

If you ever want to go to Zanzibar for a sunny summer or winter holiday you really have to check if you can stay at Bellevue, that’s where Debby lives and works now and she will definitely make sure you have the best time on Zanzibar ever!
